The FAU Invitational on Monday and Tuesday was the last event of the fall season for the UCF men’s golf team. They came in fifth place.
The last score for UCF on Tuesday was +27, which was its second-best finish of the season and tied for fourth place with its fourth-place finish at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic.
Lucas Dutartre, a junior, finished his fall season tied for fourth place with a +2 score. Hans Risvaer, a sophomore, shared for 15th place with a score of +6. Chase Haygood, a junior, shot a +8 and tied for 28th place.
The last three players for UCF all finished with scores of +15. Graduate student Felix Schrott and redshirt junior Jakob Stubhaug, who played as an individual, were tied for first place. The junior Clemente Silva scored the last point, which was +19.
UCF will take a three-month break to get ready for the spring season, which starts on February 3, 2025, at the Sea Best Invitational. The Knights will play in six events before the Big 12 Championship and the NCAA Regionals. This is the first one.
