Around 1:30 p.m. on December 27, 2022, police were called to the 6200 block of Curry Ford Road because someone was missing.
Victoria-Gonzalez told OPD that she hadn’t seen Medina-Pachecho, her roommate, since December 25, 2022.
Over the course of the investigation, police found many problems with Victoria-Gonzalez’s account of what happened. At their home, a search order was carried out and important evidence was found that showed a violent event had happened.
Multiple local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies worked together on the case, which led detectives to the conclusion that Victoria-Gonzalez lived in Hartford, CT.
It was likely that Victoria-Gonzalez would be charged after detectives went to Hartford, CT, and talked to her again. The Hartford Police Department was thanked by the Orlando Police Department for their help with the probe.
