According to a list that was recently compiled by Stacker, the most expensive real estate listings in the state of California are located in the prestigious and aesthetically pleasing suburb of Atherton.
Atherton is the most costly housing market in the state due to the outrageously high average home value of $7.6 million, which makes it the most expensive housing market overall.
The list that Stacker developed was compiled with the use of data from Zillow, which ranked cities according to the Zillow Home Values Index as of September 2024.
Providing a clear view of California’s high-value housing hotspots, the data analysis and visualizations were generated automatically, making the information easily accessible.
Matplotlib was used to construct the data analysis and visualizations for the study, which was intended to promote Atherton as the most prominent location in California for luxury real estate developments.
