For $12 million, a home in Woodside that is encircled by the undulating California hills has gone up for sale.
According to the offering on Sotheby’s International Realty, “This legacy 162-acre ranch, which has been in the same family for almost a century, is nestled among an expanse of coastal valleys and ridges, and it can now be yours.”
The property includes an unofficial but well-used air strip, a spacious country home, a barn, a workshop, and a large pond for swimming and fishing. The sunsets in the western ocean vistas are particularly breathtaking.
The images show a sizable alabaster home situated on a tree-dotted ridge in a quiet, private area. With hardwood floors, handcrafted doors, and windows “hewn from locally sourced wood,” the four-bedroom, four-bathroom house is like a vintage record of country living inside, according to the listing.
Other features include:
- High ceilings
- Fireplace
- Large windows
- Pond views
- Terrace
The ranch also has a wooden deck on the pond and some other fun things.
As per a news release, the house used to belong to Gerda Isenberg, who started Yerba Buena Nursery. It is now owned by her granddaughter, Rebeka Jaque.
