According to a notification issued by the Menlo Park Police Department, a collision involving a vehicle caused the northbound lanes of El Camino Real to be closed between Middle Avenue to Roble Avenue.
According to the notice that was sent out at 5:37 in the morning, the collision took place close to Safeway, which is located at 525 El Camino Real.
It was recommended to motorists that they take an other route until approximately six in the morning, when the police sent a follow-up message saying that the road will be reopened.
Concerning the crash, there was no additional information provided. The Menlo Park Police Department has been contacted by The Almanac in this effort to obtain additional information.
