Hayward police are appealing to the community for assistance in locating the person responsible for a hit-and-run accident that resulted in a pedestrian suffering severe injuries.
It was approximately 11:45 p.m. on October 30 when the incident took place, according to the officials, at the intersection of Harder Road and Soto Road.
The pedestrian is said to have been struck by a black Dodge Charger, which resulted in the victim being sent to the hospital, where they are currently operating in serious condition.
It was not provided with a description of the truck driver.
