This morning, the Bay Area is going to experience a change in the weather as a cold front will bring some light rain to the region. There are already faint radar echoes visible over Mendocino County, and it is anticipated that scattered showers will develop in the North Bay this afternoon.
There is a moderate amount of precipitation, with the most of regions receiving approximately 0.10 inches, however higher elevations may receive up to 0.25 inches.
Throughout the day, there will be an increase in cloud cover, which will continue throughout the night as temperatures continue to be low.
However, the National Weather Service may decide to reissue freeze warnings and frost advisories for Monday morning. These warnings and advisories were issued for the Central Coast area earlier.
When looking ahead, we can expect to see chilly days continuing throughout the middle of the week, and there is a possibility of additional heavy rainfall later in the week, particularly in the North Bay.
