According to the Fremont Police Department, a guy was taken into custody after committing an attack with a lethal weapon while confronting other males over an alleged tryst with his partner. The incident occurred last week.
A man who was armed with an axe assaulted employees of an auto repair shop on Friday, November 8. The incident took place at the establishment.
The armed suspect allegedly accused the employees of having sexual relations with his girlfriend, and then threatened to kill the employees after making the accusation, according to the police.
According to the Fremont Police Department, the man ultimately swung the axe at two employees, which prompted one of the employees to flash his pistol. Next, the suspect made his escape on foot.
The incident did not result in any injuries being incurred by anyone.
Later on, law enforcement officers discovered the suspect emerging from a canal. According to the Fremont Police Department, the suspect fled back to the canal after becoming aware of the presence of the police, but he was eventually located after a brief foot pursuit.
