The disaster recovery centers that were closed briefly because of Election Day are now open again.
These centers are now open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are in Dixie and Suwannee counties. A D-SNAP office is also starting in Suwannee County, in the building of the Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative in Live Oak.
Beginning tomorrow, this site will be open to help residents apply for food aid, and it will stay open until Sunday. Officials also said that soon, they will name a place in Columbia County.
