Niche has made a new list that says Seminole County Public Schools is the best public school system in Florida.
Niche is a website that rates and reviews schools. SCPS says that the 2025 rankings were made after a “rigorous analysis of key performance indicators” like graduation rates, teacher quality, college readiness, and reviews from students and parents.
People said that the district did a great job of preparing kids for the future and had a lot of fun events outside of school.
SCPS said the award shows how dedicated the school is to new programs, academic excellence, and having kids do well.

Nicole D. Beamon, who is in charge of Seminole County Public Schools, said, “We are honored to be named the best public school district in Florida by Niche.” “Our teachers, staff, students, and families have worked hard and are proud of this accomplishment.”
To give all of our kids a great education and help us reach our goal of giving all of them the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they need to be useful members of society is very important to us.
Niche also has a list of the best public school districts in Central Florida. Orange County comes in at No. 16, Sumter at No. 17, and Flagler at No. 19.
