Chiefland beat Union County the last time they played, and they did the same thing on Friday. The Union County Fightin’ Tigers lost to the Chiefland Indians 30–29 in a close game that could have gone either way. The win made it two wins in a row for the Indians.
The QB was sacked twice before the game was over by Chiefland, who didn’t let up. They got the picks from Osten Jones and Jolan Doty.
With the win, Chiefland’s record went to 8-1. However, Union County lost, ending a run of four away wins that made their record 8-1.
Monday at 6 p.m., Chiefland will play Trenton. This season, Chiefland’s defense has only given up eight points per game. Trenton’s attack will have to work hard to beat them. Right now, Union County doesn’t have any more games planned.
