COAL CITY, WV (WVNS) – Not one, not two, but three players from Independence High School have signed up to play at the next level.
Friends, family, and staff of the new college players got together in the high school cafeteria on November 20, 2024, in the afternoon.
Orion Wills, who plays for the Independence Baseball Team, was the first player up. He agreed to play for Concord University on the team. He has a degree in business relations.
Em Lilly and Kassidy Bradbury played on the softball team next.
Both of them will be taking their skills to Glenville State University, which is in Glenville, West Virginia. Bradbury is going to major in physical therapy and Lilly is going to major in ultrasound technology.
