Tim Schmidt Jr. was a student at UCF who died in the shooting in downtown Orlando while people were celebrating Halloween. His friends, family, and those from UCF are coming together to remember him.

Tim was a student at UCF. He was 19 years old and from Weston, Florida. The people he lived with and loved said he was a “extraordinary person” with a strong heart and soul.

The Alpha Epsilon Pi Nu Delta Chapter of Central Florida started a GoFundMe to celebrate his life and carry on his work. As of this morning (11/4/2024), over $70,000 had been raised.

The GoFundMe says, “He was an amazing person, a loving son, a caring friend, a talented soccer player, an amazing teammate, a kind soul, a hardworking student, and a person with a very warm heart and a wicked sense of humor.” We feel terrible for him and everyone else who was hurt in Orlando.
